Pecan Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 and half of 1/3 cups Crisco
  • 2 and 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sifted powder sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Blend all the ingredients well
  • Roll into 1-inch balls
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes
  • Roll immediately into plate filled with sifted powdered sugar
  • Place on rack to cool

Notes

Squeeze dough together to form into balls, dough is slightly temperamental depending on humidity
