Pecan Puffs
Great Grandma Mary Gladis & Aunt Sue's recipe
Ingredients
- 1 and half of 1/3 cups Crisco
- 2 and 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup sifted powder sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Blend all the ingredients well
- Roll into 1-inch balls
- Bake for 12-15 minutes
- Roll immediately into plate filled with sifted powdered sugar
- Place on rack to cool
Notes
Squeeze dough together to form into balls, dough is slightly temperamental depending on humidity
