Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
If you can't find unsweetened then limit the amount of simple syrup

Demerara or Turbinado gives a more complex flavor

Instructions
Add ice to stirring glass (enough ice to easily cover the liquid twice- lots of ice to minimize dilution while stirring)
Add cranberry juice, curacao, and simple syrup to stirring glass
Stir until the stirring glass is thoroughly chilled- good rule of thumb is to watch for condensation on the side of the glass.
Strain into (preferably chilled) coupe glass
Top up with champagne to create a nice wash line - roughly 2 oz
Place 3 or 4 cranberries in glass
Express a lemon peel over the glass and then twist it to garnish on rim.
