Teriyaki sauce

Japanese teriyaki sauce I make

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp sake
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in saucepan over high heat to just bellow a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 min.

Notes

to thicken add some cornstarch disolved in water
