Ingredients

  • 2 cups Egg Noodles
  • 10 cups Water Enough for 2 packets dry soup
  • 1 cup Onion diced
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots chopped
  • 1 Chicken cooked and cut into bite sized pieces
  • 2 packages Dry Chicken soup Can also use 'better than bouillon' or whatever you like

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except chicken in pot and simmer for 20 min. or until noodles and vegetables are soft.
  • Add Chicken
  • Let Chicken heat, serve.

Traditional chicken noodle soup Mom made us as kids.

Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup Pasta macaroni, rotini, or similar
  • 1 cup Onion diced
  • 1/2 lb. Ground Beef
  • Red Chili Powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Boil Water; when boiling add salt and pasta.
  • Sauté Onions and Ground Beef; Seasoning to taste.
  • Plug in crock pot and set to medium.
  • Combine all ingredients in crock pot and season to taste.
  • When pasta is finished cooking: strain and add to crock pot.
  • Mix everything, re-season.
  • Let cook in crock-pot for at least an hour so all flavors mix.

Notes

Crescent rolls make a nice addition. Just how Mom used to do it. 😀

Fool-Proof Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can Cream of Celery Soup
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 package Dry Onion Soup
  • 1 box Uncle Ben's Long grain and wild rice with seasoning packet
  • 1 1/2 lbs Chicken Whole chicken cut into parts
  • 1 can Water

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into type of pieces preferred.
  • If leaving skin on (why would you take it off? its good!) rub with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Combine all ingredients, excluding chicken in 9x13 baking pan.
  • Place chicken pieces on top of mixture.
  • Bake, covered, for 45 min.
  • Uncover and stir gravy.
  • Continue to bake, uncovered for another 30-45min or until chicken is just browned.
