Ingredients

  • 55 ml Norseman Gin
  • 25 ml Lime Juice
  • 2.5 ml Pink Salt Solution 3 parts water to 1 part pink salt-> Make like Simple Syrup
  • 3 ml Champagne Vinegar
  • 40 ml Seltzer

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients except seltzer.
    Pour over ice.
    Top with seltzer

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger julienned (preferably young ginger)

Instructions

  • Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, and oil in a sauce dish and scatter the ginger on top.

Ultimate Hummus

Despite the arrogance of the name, it is a damn fine recipe. I double this typically, which works well.

Tater Tot Casserole

 

Tater Tot Casserole

Another classic midwestern casserole from my Childhood; better and healthier (sort of ) than the average tater tot hot dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 can Frenched Green Beans
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 small pnion diced
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • tater tots

Instructions

  • Saute onions and ground beef, seasoning to taste.
  • Combine all ingredient except tater tots in a greased baking dish.
  • Cover mixture with tater tots.
  • Pre-Heat oven to 350*.
  • Place cover over pan and bake at 350 for 30 min.
  • Uncover and bake another 30 min to crisp tater tots.
